KVEC has brought on two maintenance staff and has an open position to hire a third in <br />order to keep up with the maintenance needs of the facility. Within only a year, this <br />has proved to be a worthwhile change and is already making an impact on the health, <br />better use, and aesthetics of the facility. Our funding comes from Kittitas County's <br />General Fund and we hope as we continue to have successful rates of events, our <br />funding will sustain to cover the labor and operations of facility maintenance. <br />8, Project Readiness: Please provide a detailed project schedule, including milestones <br />necessary for completion as mentioned in question 1 above. On the schedule, indicate items <br />completed and exactly where in the schedule the project is at this time. Be sure to include <br />expected completion date. <br />Currently, the demo and cleaning of the inside has been completed in order to prep <br />for consultation and bidding for the rest of the project steps. The building is currently <br />being assessed by contractors in order to complete bids for the spray foam portion <br />and soon the remaining tasks at hand will be reviewed for bid. The project will be <br />cornpleted before the 2020 Ellensburg Rodeo, so we have time to finish the project as <br />contractors are available. The spray foam portion of the project will take <br />approximately one week to complete. After that, we will be allowing three more <br />weeks in order to complete the wall finishing and lay back down the carpet. New <br />carpet was purchased last year and is not damaged, so will not need to be replaced. <br />Carpet is currently stored in a safe drive please until it is ready to install. Our last step <br />will be exterior cleaning of the entire structure and repainting, which is estimated to <br />take about a week as well. <br />9.
