BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - <br />CLASSIFY PARKE CREEK ROAD MP 7.34 TO MP 11.64 AS BEING "PRIMITIVE <br />ROAD" PURSUANT TO REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON AT 36.75.300 <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners recently established an <br />additional 4.3 miles of unimproved right of way to Parke Creek Road extending <br />road length from MP 7.34 to MP 11.64; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works now desires setting the discretionary maintenance for Parke Creek <br />Road MP 7.34 to MP 11.64; and <br />WHEREAS: Parke Creek Road MP 7.34 to MP 11.64 is either gravel or earthen roadway <br />driving surface and average daily traffic is less than 100 vehicles per day; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners may establish roads as <br />"Primitive" pursuant to Revised Code of Washington 36.75.300; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby classify and designate Parke Creek Road from MP 7.34 to <br />MP 11.64 as being "Primitive" pursuant to RCW 36.75.300. <br />DATED this 6th day of October 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Bret Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />Exhibit: Map <br />
