09/21/2020 MINUTES 2 <br />Wright seconded. Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager stated that <br />they have it worked out to have all the purchases through Jerrol’s <br />to keep funds local. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board determined for the week of September 21, 2020 that they <br />would continue to share on their Facebook page any Press Releases <br />from Public Health relating to COVID-19; as well as a Press Release <br />from the USDA to provide additional direct assistant to Farmers and <br />Ranchers impacted by COVID-19; Information about Barn Week beginning <br />9/21 – 9/24 sponsored by the Washington Trust and Historic <br />preservation, and invite residents to share pictures and <br />Commissioner Wright stated he would like to put something together <br />regarding the Salmon spawning up at Salmon La Sac and the <br />educational piece for citizens of Kittitas County to highlight the <br />work that the YBIP has done. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES- <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners shared updates regarding meetings <br />they have individually attended over the past week. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright and Chairman Wachsmith both had been in contact <br />with the schools and were hopeful additional information would be <br />coming forward in the near future that kids would be returning to <br />their schools soon, noting it would look different, but having it <br />in-person would be great for all. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:25 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Brett Wachsmith, Chairman
