We urge ysu to support the Washin6lon {WA} State llorse Par application <br />far $2.0 rnillion in capitalfunding support for a Cavered Arena end Assatiated \uild-Aut <br />rubrnitted by the WA State l,lorse Park Atithorit?. <br />Our goal is to make WA Stata Horse Park the nenr hcme far our future monthly horse shows" To <br />do that, we will need a covered arena to protect the footing and accommodate our spectators, <br />judges and cornpetitcrs during aur competitions. ln the past we have nttracted "Wolfd <br />Champions" such as Maff 6aines, Greg Smith and Lindy Surch as well as local trainars like iost) <br />Sleeman {NCHA Fl{ll of Famerland ioe Joner.lr.{lrlCHA Zane Schulte Award reclpient} to our <br />shows. With this new srsna we hope to invite this prestigiolrs group cf professionals and many <br />others to thB WA State l"lone Park for q$ality csw cutting Events, <br />Centrally located in Cle €lum, the ll?-acre Horse P*rk is a destination venue among horse <br />facilities ,n our state and wtll easily afirAct rgmpetit{rs ts our events. ThE Parrs ability to draw <br />people from outside the local area uniquely characteriees the Park'* impact and alre*dy <br />generat€$ $3.4 million in total eronomic irnpact. The Covered Arena will allow the Pf,rk ts <br />atlract more horse discipllnes, host larger sho'*s and extend its operating s€ason from five ts <br />nine rnonths, significantly increasing the size and rrumber cf events held at the Park. <br />Thank you for your consideraticn.
