Our Association <br />has hosted a show at the tiVashingfpn State llorse Pa* for the last four years. Our member:hip loves lo <br />hold a show €tthis b€autifillfacility but we ar"e limited to only having one surnmsftims rhow s year <br />there as weather is a ma.lsr ccnsideration far the safety of our horses and riders when competing. fiain <br />1s a deal breaker for our graup. The f'IWRCHA would !e open to expanding the n*rnber of chowc and <br />the dura:ion pf the shows we hold at the Horse Fark if a covered arena wag avallahle. As the Show <br />Chairpersca of the HIA'BCHA, t see a terrific need for this covered facility. Ws have limited chpices of <br />equine facilities in our state fcr our equesirian competitions. This covered Arena at ihe Washington <br />Horse Park in Cle flurn, would create optisilr for m$llipl€ eggestrian €ven$. <br />The NW Reined Cow llorse Association is asking you to rupport th* Wasiiington Statp Hnrse Park <br />application for 92.0 million in capltal firnding for a {overed Arena and Assaciated Build-Out subrnitted <br />by the Washington State Horse Park. <br />?he 112-acro ltor:e Park is a destination venu€ a$rng *quine €nthuiiasts that attracts 30 thousand <br />yisitcrs per ye6t. Approximately 959s of the$€ attendees are from outside the lscal area rreating a $?.5 <br />million in orrernight stays, The tstal economic lmpact fiam the park is appmximate$ $f.S milllon.
