He stated he is trying to understand what the staffing <br />expectations are for that and has heard there is another department <br />feeling pressed for time and unable to keep staffing another <br />committee as well. He stated he thinks this is probably a bigger <br />conversation and fully understands that the BoCC Staff cannot take <br />on more as they are spread thin as well. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />outlined the expectations and the reasons behind why that Committee <br />belongs in CDS. The Board directed Staff to set up a meeting in <br />September and invite whoever has Staff that Clerks any of the <br />Boards, Committee’s or Commissions. <br /> <br />LETTER COUNTY BUDGET RETREAT LETTER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Chair signature on a letter to <br />the County Management Team regarding the Budget Retreat on <br />Wednesday. He noted that it included the discussed priorities that <br />were for 2021 the Board previously selected. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTER CHECKERBOARD PARTNERSHIP COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz presented the Board with a letter of support <br />for the Checkerboard Partnership Effort. Commissioner Wright stated <br />he would like to make some edits and re-consider the letter with the <br />edits. <br /> <br />The Board directed Staff to place the amended letter on the BoCC <br />Agenda under Admin. Matters on Tuesday August 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COMMISSIONERS SCHEDULES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board discussed options for moving into the fall with the <br />anticipation of remote learning for their kids and expectations of <br />each-other regarding office coverage. <br /> <br />They agreed that if they were not committed offsite, or for a non <br />BoCC meeting they would be in the office. <br /> <br />REQUEST BOE GMAIL ACCOUNTS FOR 2020 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I requested the Board to <br />authorize her to work with IT and purchase Gmail Accounts for the <br />BOE 2020 season. She explained that since it’s all virtual, it will <br />be needed as she can’t hand out laptops and jump drives. She said <br />that it will be $30.00 dollars a month and she has it in her budget. <br /> <br />The Board approved the request as presented. <br /> <br />PLANNING COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS <br />
