3. Sustainability: Describe how this project would or wouldn't be sustained if these <br />Homelessness Prevention and Affordable Housing funds were not available either <br />currently or in the future. (250 words max.) <br />Without the Homeless Prevention and Affordable Housing funds, HopeSource would not <br />be able to provide the down payment to secure the property and the community would <br />lose an opportunity to create 20 low income including 10 homeless homeless units <br />furthering our goal of creating 25 homeless units by 2024. The rental income from the <br />occupants will support operations and mortgage payments. lt is HopeSource's intention <br />to keep this project affordable for a minimum of 20 years renting only to households at <br />or below 60% AMl. <br />15
