She <br />stated that she is frustrated by not being able to conduct in person <br />meetings, but also understands all the work that needs to be done <br />prior to allow for it to be opened back up safely. <br /> <br />SET PUBLIC HEARING LAND LEASE - FISH COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Approve Setting a Public Hearing to consider a proposed land lease <br />with FISH Community Food Bank, to be held on Tuesday August 11, 2020 <br />at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, Room 109, Kittitas <br />County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA and to authorize <br />the Clerk to publish said notice. <br /> <br />REQUEST HARRIS OFFICE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Item pulled. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION 2021 BUDGET RETREAT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager stated that they have a Budget <br />Retreat Date set for August 19, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., <br />to be held virtually. Chairman Wachsmith reviewed a few topics they <br />planned to discuss and stated that he would like to meet again with <br />Ms. Pless and then circle back to the Board to finish the meeting <br />and get input. <br /> <br />PLANNING COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board received an update from Dr. Larson regarding local impacts <br />and there was discussion about school restarting and graffiti <br />happening around the Courthouse and whether they should give <br />direction to Maintenance to clean it up. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of July 27, 2020 that they would <br />share on their Facebook page any Press Releases from Public Health <br />relating to COVID-19 and would also be sharing Press Releases from <br />WSDOT relating to a new roundabout that will be built in 2021; as <br />well as Emergency Repairs on I-90 and also to share a Press Release <br />regarding the Capital Facilities Committee once drafted. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were no general updates or other business discussed. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:45 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
