KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: June 22, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair's <br />Signature on County Road Administration Rural Arterial <br />Program Funding Contract <br />BACKGROUND: The County Road Administration Board (CRAB) is <br />offering additional Rural Arterial Program (RAP) funding <br />for our Vantage Highway safety project. CRAB is offering <br />an additional $268,200 increasing total project funding to <br />$1,307,860. The project overlays failing asphalt and <br />replaces all guardrail. The project limits extend from <br />Vantage to the top of the hill. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to authorize the Chair's signature <br />on the CRAB RAP funding contract. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; CRAB funding agreement. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
