KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM February 24, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, and Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: Mark Cook (PW), Lindsey Ozbolt (CDS) Candie Leader (PW), <br />and Dan Carlson (PW) <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm <br />GIS/Long Range Planning Project Update <br />Director Carlson briefed the Board of County Commissioners with <br />a list of long range planning work items and priorities. Some <br />include updates to the critical areas ordinance which are on <br />schedule to be updated by the end of 2020. The Shoreline Master <br />Program is also due for an update and is due by the end of June <br />2021. The new Long Range Planner who is starting March 2, 2020 <br />will also be responsible to update the Capital Improvement <br />Program. This update would include both County owned facilities <br />along with private districts facilities. Under the Growth <br />Management Act the county is responsible to keep inventory of <br />the private districts facilities but not necessarily the <br />projects. Currently, IT is working with stakeholders to create <br />a tool to use in conjunction with GIS.
