Page2 of 3 <br />September 28,2020 - Selection of firms and prepare contncts <br />October 6,2020 - BOCC Award of Contracts <br />The selection process shall be as follows: <br />. Submittals are reviewed and scored by the Public Works selection committee. <br />' Selection of firms to interview may be waived if the selection committee decides to award to a single firm based on <br />review of the submittals. <br />' Firms will be selected to interview if the selection committee decides that interviews are required. The specific <br />interview format will be provided to firms in advance of interviews. <br />' The Public Works Director will negotiate a scope of work and fee with the selected consultant. <br />' Providing that a scope of work and fee is successfully negotiated, the consultant will be recommended for award to <br />the Board of County Commissioners during a Board business session (October 6,2020). <br />' The selected consultant will then enter into a standard professional service agreement with Public Works. <br />Kittitas County, in accordance with Tifle VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964,78 51at.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and <br />Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary,Part2l, <br />Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby <br />notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, <br />disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response <br />to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration <br />for an award. <br />The above noted schedule is tentative and may be changed based on the number of proposals submitted. Proposals will be <br />evaluated immediately with final selection targeted for late September 2020. <br />AGREEMENT OF' SERVICES: <br />The selected consultant(s) will be expected to enter into a standard Professional Services Agreement. Insurance <br />requirements are included in that agreement. The anticipated contract period shall be September 2020 to Septemb er 202I. <br />Persons with disabilities may request this information be prepared and supplied in alternate forms by calling collect (509- <br />962-7s23). <br />Kittitas County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or any items or part thereof or to waive any <br />information or inegularities in the proposals. Kittitas County shall have the sole discretion to determine the most responsible <br />proposal. <br />ADDITIONAL INT'ORMATION: <br />No cost or fee schedules shall be submitted withyour response. Consultants will be selected on their qualifications and <br />experience as noticed in this solicitatiorq with fees determined through negotiations following selection.
