Page 1 of 1 Public Notice Kittitas County, Ellensburg WA KITTITAS COUNTY — BULLFROG ROAD, RC 2002, CRP 300-20 Sealed bids will be received by the Kittitas County Public Works, at the reception desk located at 411 North Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington until 9:00 AM on August 12, 2020 and will then and there be opened and publicly read for the construction of the improvements. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Kittitas County Public Works. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding. The improvement for which bids will be received is described below: This Contract provides for the improvement of Bullfrog Road; these improvements consist of planing existing pavement, adjusting utility valve cases and manholes, overlaying with hot mix asphalt, temporary traffic control and permanent roadway striping and other work all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Provisions and the Standard Specifications.
