Phase 6 —Scope of Work <br />This Phase 6 scope of work (SOW) encompasses additional permitting assistance and design services <br />provided by CH21VI Hill Engineers, Inc.(Jacobs) to support Kittitas County (COUNTY) with improvements <br />to Highway 97, constructing the collector road from Highway 97 to the Transfer Station entrance, and <br />installing utilities, including water, sewer, gas, electrical, telecommunication services, stormwater <br />features, and appropriate utility appurtenances. In addition, Jacobs will perform permitting and design <br />services for the re -location of the 100 -year FEMA floodplain at the site. <br />Phase 6 work outlined in this SOW is expected to be complete in September 2020. <br />This work will be performed in accordance with the October 16, 2016 Professional Service Agreement <br />and its Amendments No. 1-5 (PSA). <br />Construction Phase 1- Roadway, Utilities, and Floodplain Design and Permitting <br />This phase is to provide design services for roadway, utilities, and floodplain improvements associated <br />with Construction Phase 1 activities. Additional phases may include bidding/award and services during <br />construction, which will be negotiated under a separate amendment. <br />Phase 6 tasks and work associated with each subtask is as follows: <br />Task 1: Project Management <br />Project management tasks will include monthly invoicing and project status reporting, monthly <br />coordination meetings with the County Solid Waste Director (Client), and weekly Jacobs' team meetings <br />throughout the duration of Phase 6. <br />Assumptions: <br />• This phase of the project is expected to be completed in September 2020. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Communication call/meeting agendas and high-level summaries <br />• Progress reports and invoices <br />Tasl(2: Field Work <br />2.1 Surveying and Mapping <br />Jacobs shall rely on the existing aerial photography, mapping, and ground surveying information <br />completed during the permitting phase of the project. As a subconsultant to Jacobs, Cruse & Associates <br />shall provide additional ground surveying for the project area along Highway 97 from the existing offsite <br />City utilities point of connection (approximately 1,100' south of the site) to the northern boundary of <br />the site. Additional survey information will be obtained for a 50' x 1,700' strip of land located south of <br />the proposed collector road. Information will include determination of property lines, section lines, <br />right of ways (ROW), and existing easements of the corridor for the new utility and road construction. <br />Deliverables <br />• Mapping along Highway 97 and collector road <br />Assumptions <br />• Project Coordinate System and Datum: The horizontal datum and coordinate system will be <br />based on monuments and coordinates currently used for control along Highway 97. <br />
