BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - <br />TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE FAIRVIEW ROAD WIDENING AND <br />COLEMAN CREEK STRUCTURES REPLACEMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME <br />WHEREAS: On May 11, 2020, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners approved <br />a Notice of Call for sealed bids for the Fairview Road Widening and Coleman <br />Creek Structures Replacement Project; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids for the Fairview Road Widening <br />and Coleman Creek Structures Replacement Project in accordance with RCW <br />36.77.020 Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on June 1, 2020 at the Kittitas County Permit Center, <br />Department of Public Works, 411 N. Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, WA; and <br />WHEREAS: Four (4) bids were received for the prescribed work with the Engineer's estimate <br />being $961,065.00.
