BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 Q l <br />ACCEPTING THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE CAPITAL FACILITY GRANT <br />(UPON FINAL PROSECUTING ATTORNEY ACCEPTANCE) AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE DIRECTOR OF AIRPORT OPERATIONS TO SIGN THE GRANT ON BEHALF <br />OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners (Board) did request capital <br />facility funds from the 2019 Legislature; and <br />WHEREAS: The legislature did authorize $275,000 responding to the Board's funding request; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The Board is anxious to begin design of Bowers Field runway 7/25 along with a <br />strategic development plan and commercial appraisal of airport assets; and <br />WHEREAS: Upon final acceptance of grant documents by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office <br />the Board desires having the Director of Airport Operations accept the grant on <br />behalf of the Board; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby accept the Department of Commerce capital facility grant <br />(upon final approval of grant documents from the Prosecuting Attorney's Office) and authorizes <br />the Director of Airport Operations to accept the grant on behalf of the Board. <br />DATED this 27th day of April, 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY WASHINGTON <br />Brett achsmith, Chairman <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />�� Laur Osi z, Vice -Chairman <br />9Z eputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />............. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY WASHINGTON <br />Brett achsmith, Chairman <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />�� Laur Osi z, Vice -Chairman <br />9Z eputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
