KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 19, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve & Sign a Lease with Virgil Thovson for <br />Airport Property. <br />BACKGROUND: On April 1, 1995, Virgil Thovson entered into a <br />lease for County land located at the Bowers <br />Field Airport within the Aeronautical Area. Mr. <br />Thovson built a private aircraft hangar on <br />approximately 6868 square feet county <br />property. <br />INTERACTION: <br />As of March 31, 2020, Mr. Thovson's lease <br />was at the end of the lease term.
