12/11/2015 MINUTES 3 RESOLUTION 2015-175 LEVY CERTIFICATION – GENERAL FUND AUDITOR COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve Resolution No. 2015-175, Resolution for the Levying Certification for the General Fund for Municipal Purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the Year 2016 According to the Assessed Valuation as Determined in the Year 2015. COMMISSIONER JEWELL seconded. Motion carried 3-0. RESOLUTION 2015-176 LEVY CERTIFICATION – COUNTY ROAD AUDITOR COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve Resolution No. 2015-176, Resolution for the Levying Certification for the County Road for Municipal Purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the Year 2016 According to the Assessed Valuation as Determined in the Year 2015. COMMISSIONER JEWELL seconded. Motion carried 3-0. RESOLUTION 2015-177 LEVY CERTIFICATION – FLOOD CONTROL ZONE AUDITOR COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve Resolution No. 2015-177, Resolution for the Levying Certification for the County Flood Control Zone District for Municipal Purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the Year 2016 According to the Assessed Valuation as Determined in the Year 2015. COMMISSIONER JEWELL seconded. COMMISSIONER JEWELL thanked everyone for their participation in this year’s budget process. He encouraged departments to be fiscally conservative just as they have done in the past. He noted how the budget included a 3% increase for all non-represented employees. COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN explained that due to being good fiscal stewards over the years Kittitas County has not been struggling as much as most counties within the State. CHAIRMAN BERNDT thanked Judy Pless for all her hard work with the budget process. He said the budget reflected quality of work and is proud to be a part of it. Motion carried 3-0.
