jail. Spend money on jail should be priority over anew boat. Commissioner Berndt asked how <br />long to build fund to replace the boat. Undersheriff said minimum of 7 years. Depends on what <br />operations are, how much VRF is and grant money. <br />Per Commissioner Berndt, no to replacing boat, but no objective to some money, maybe $15,000 <br />as a starter. Undersheriff said it would take away concern if something happened now. <br />Action taken — Per Commissioner Jewell and Berndt, approved budget amendment of <br />$15,000.00. Undersheriff Myers said we will send a budget amendment. <br />Discuss 2016 Budget — Undersheriff asked for an update. Per Commissioner Jewell, no <br />movement, waiting on fund balance, answer hopefully next week. <br />Other business — Undersheriff asked if we can order new vehicles. Paul said `do it'. Discussion <br />on extended warranty mileage for trucks are approximately 125,000, SUV 100,000 and 5,000 per <br />vehicle bumper to bumper (includes maintenance).
