04/17/2018 MINUTES 5 ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS - NONE BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS ORDINANCE MARIAN MEADOWS PUD, CUP & PLAT CDS Commissioner Jewell moved to take no action and instruct Staff to bring back a corrected Ordinance as directed to an Agenda Session at a later date. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-0. CLOSED RECORD MEETING AMENDED HYAK PUD REZONE & PLAT CDS Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning Official presented information to the Board upon their request at the previous Closed Record Meeting on April 3, 2018 relating to current conditions and mitigation. The Board provided feedback and indicated they’d like Staff to return with a red-lined version with a Resolution and Development Plan together. Commissioner Jewell moved to continue the Closed Record Meeting to May 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. under Board Discussion & Decision to consider a final amended Resolution & Development Plan for the Hyak PUD & Rezone. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-0. MISCELLANEOUS Commissioner Jewell brought up issues relating to roads in the Hyak area, specifically snow removal and with the difficulty they’ve been seeing over the past several years, it looks as though it will get worse with more people living in the area full time instead of vacation homes. The Board instructed Staff to bring the topic to the next Public Works Department Study Session with what options are available which may require a more extensive research with what the problems are and possible solutions. Director Mark Cook said he appreciated the Board bringing up the issue as it’s getting extremely expensive in the area to maintain snow removal and the complaints about vehicle speeds during the summer.
