4/09/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />Head’s on an annual basis. They determined at the end of 2013 they <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ORDINANCE MISUSE 911 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien indicated that the citizen responsible for <br />causing a problem with abuse of the 911 system is no longer in the <br />County and therefore this is not an issue needing discussion. <br /> <br />WAIVER CWU/RSVP COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize an exemption from the County <br />Admissions Tax for RSVP only. He stated that the waiver is not for <br />Central Washington University, noting that CWU applied on behalf of <br />RSVP due to how RSVP is set up under the University. Commissioner <br />O’Brien seconded. Staff was directed to send a letter noitifying the <br />applicant. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTER OF SUPPORT HAIRPIN RANCH-FORTERRA COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize Board signature on a letter <br />of support for the Grant Forterra is submitting in an effort to <br />conserve working farmland in Kittitas Valley. Commissioner Jewell <br />seconded.
