5/21/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />WAIVER NOISE ORDINANCE – WSDOT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a request for a waiver to the <br />County Noise Ordinance from William Sauriol, WSDOT South Central <br />Environmental Manager from 7/30/2018 – 9/1/2018 on State Route 903, <br />mileposts 2.10 to 4.10, 4.33 to 4.75, and 6.10 to 10.06., noting <br />that the Board asked WSDOT to perform work during daytime hours <br />wherever homes are when possible. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. <br />Jeff Minnick, WSDOT Representative stated that they plan to deliver <br />flyers to residents and to Suncadia, as well as put up signs 5-7 <br />days in advance and noted that City of Cle Elum has already approved <br />the proposal, noting that he will be meeting with City of Roslyn on <br />5/22/18. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />WAIVER NOISE ORDINANCE – SWIFTWATER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve a request for a waiver to the <br />County Noise Ordinance from Pat Simpson, with Suncadia Resort to <br />host the Russell Wilson & Kasey Kahne Celebrity Invitational Annual <br />Charity Golf Tournament, Auction and Concert on 6/25/2018 @ the Inn <br />at Suncadia, until 11:00 p.m. Commissioner Jewell seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY WATER RESOURCES - DOE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to ratify Commissioner Paul Jewell’s <br />signature on the Water Resources Application (lower-county) for <br />Change/Transfer of a Water Right (DOE) as presented. Chairman <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />SET HEARING DOG CONTROL ORDINANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve setting a Public Hearing to <br />consider creating a Dog Control Ordinance, to be held on June 19, <br />2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, Room 109, <br />Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA and to <br />authorize the Clerk to publish said notice. <br /> <br />PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF APPLICATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve a Public Notice for an <br />Application to change the place of use and add points of withdrawal <br />to groundwater permit No. G4-35799€ and to authorize the Clerk for <br />publish said notice.
