05/15/2018 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. MAY 15, 2018 Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien and Commissioner Paul Jewell. Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor; Stephanie Hartung, Deputy Prosecutor; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Karen Bowen, Administrative Assistant; and 5 members of the public. PUBLIC HEARING ADMISSIONS TAX COMMISSIONERS At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider Amendments to Kittitas County Code Chapter 3.22 – Admissions Tax. CHRIS HORNER, DEPUTY PROSECUTOR provided a Staff Report and reviewed proposed amendments to Kittitas County Code Chapter 3.22 – Admissions Tax. He said the Amendments would aid in the administration, collection, and enforcement of the County’s Admissions Tax Ordinance. THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. ORDINANCE 2018-007 ADMISSIONS TAX COMMISSIONERS COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve Ordinance No. 2018-007, Amending Kittitas County Code Chapter 3.22 – Admissions Tax. COMMISSIONER JEWELL seconded. Motion carried 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING FEE SCHEDULE CLERK At 2:05 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider updating the Fee Schedule in Title 4 of the Kittitas County Code to include the registration fee charged by the Clerk’s office to process applications for electronic access to Superior Court dockets through Odyssey. STEPHANIE HARTUNG, DEPUTY PROSECUTOR reviewed a proposed Ordinance which would update the Fee Schedule in Kittitas County Code Title 4 to include the registration fee charged by the Clerk’s Office to process applications for electronic access to Superior Court dockets through Odyssey.
