KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: March 25, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize Chair <br />Signature on the Digital Submittal Certification to the <br />County Road Administration Board <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, the County Sheriff, County Auditor and the <br />Board Chair are required to certify traffic law enforcement <br />diversions from the Road Fund. The County Engineer is <br />also required to sign certification documents. The Sheriff, <br />Auditor and County Engineer have all signed. The Board <br />Chair's signature is now needed completing the annual <br />report. <br />Annually, the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners <br />and County Engineer are required to certify the following <br />reports to the County Road Administration Board (CRAB): <br />2018 Annual Construction Report <br />2018 County Arterial Preservation Report <br />2018 Maintenance Management Annual <br />Certification. <br />The County Engineer has signed the required certification <br />and the Chair is now required to sign the reporting <br />document. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Chair's signature on required annual Road <br />Fund expenditure certification reporting (including the <br />traffic law enforcement) to CRAB. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; County Road Diversion Supporting <br />Documentation <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
