3/25/2019 MINUTES 2 <br />Commissioner Osiadacz questioned if the Board was in support of her <br />attending the NACO Meeting – Western Interstate Region Conference. <br />She explained that she would have to attend and register for the <br />whole thing and the cost would be approximately $500.00 for the <br />conference registration alone, not including hotel. The Board <br />supported the request. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2019-062 INTERGOVERNMENTAL TRANSACTION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-062, <br />Resolution to Authorize an Intergovernmental Transaction between <br />Kittitas County and the City of Cle Elum. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of March 25, 2019 they would be <br />sharing posts from the Sherriff’s Office regarding Fallen Sheriff’s <br />Deputy Ryan Thompson Memorial Service and ways to support Deputy <br />Thompson’s Family as well as injured Kittitas Officer Chavez. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. This was determined at a Special <br />Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners held on June 18, <br />2009. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their <br />respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis.
