Occasionally, no alteration to an existing access culvert is required and the applicant is <br />left feeling like PW "stuck" them with a fee for no service. It might be prudent to allow <br />the Director to make partial refunds (50%) for instances of re-inspection with no access <br />alteration required. <br />Relative to the cost of issuing address plates; we propose lowering the cost of address <br />plates to $25 and monitoring plate activity. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />PW believes the private bridge design/inspection permit is good for now — lack of any <br />real activity. Partial access permit refunds will create a need to supplement with Road <br />Fund.
