KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />CONIlKISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST STH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM February 11, 2019 <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:31 pm <br />UPDATE ON STATUS OF AMENDMENTS TO SOLAR REGULATIONS <br />Planning Official- Lindsey Ozbolt gave a timeline on the updates <br />for the amendments to solar regulations. Staff will begin the <br />notification process for Commerce on February 22, 2019, at the <br />same time the SEPA notice will go out. The amendments will go to <br />the Planning Commission for a public hearing on March 16, 2019. <br />From there, they will go to the Board of County Commissioners <br />for consideration on April 16, 2019. Lastly, an ordinance would <br />be presented to the Board of County Commissioner on May 7, 2019. <br />2019 BOUNDARY & ANNEXIATION SURVEY- U.S. CENSUS BUREAU <br />Planning Official- Lindsey Ozbolt shared that the U.S. Census <br />Bureau breaks boundary surveys in sub -sections and gives each <br />jurisdiction an option to use the mapping exercise based on what <br />the U.S. Census Bureau has compiled and propose any charges. <br />Board directed Ms. Ozbolt to provide more information at next <br />study session to discuss further. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING COMMITTESS <br />Director Carlson requested that all inactive committees be <br />dissolved. The board directed Mr. Carlson to draft a resolution <br />and present at the next study session. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Commissioner Osiadacz requested that Director Carlson and Fire <br />Marshal Pat Nicholson review County Code regarding giving the <br />Fire Marshal the authorization to place a ban on the discharge <br />of fireworks. The board would like this review completed by <br />Memorial Day 2019. <br />2019-02-11 MINUTES 1 <br />
