02/05/2019 MINUTES 2 <br />RESOLUTION 2019-019 DISPOSITION OF COUNTY ASSETS AUDITOR COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-019, To <br />Declare Equipment Surplus to the County. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING GAME BIRD LOOP & SAGE GROUSE LANE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:15 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to <br />consider Amending Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 Speed <br />Limits and Section 10.12.010 Stops and Yields for Game Bird Loop and <br />Sage Grouse Lane. <br /> MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR provided a Staff Report and <br />recommended setting a speed limit of 25 miles per hour and placing <br />the proper signage on Game Bird Loop and Sage Grouse Lane. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> ORDINANCE 2019-001 GAME BIRD LOOP & SAGE GROUSE LANE PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Ordinance No. 2019-001, <br />Establishment of a Speed Zone and the Placement of Speed Limit Signs <br />on the Entire Length of Game Bird Loop and Sage Grouse Lane and the <br />Placement of Stop Sign at Game Bird Loop and Sage Grouse Lane and <br />Amending Section 10.08.010 and Section 10.12.010 of the Kittitas <br />County Code. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING MEADOW WAY PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:17 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to <br />consider Amending Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 Speed <br />Limits to Establish a Speed Limit for Meadow Way. <br /> MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR provided a Staff Report and <br />recommended establishing a Speed Limit of 25 miles per hour and to <br />authorize the Placement of Speed Limit signs on Meadow Way. <br /> COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ disclosed that up until this time she had <br />recused herself on issues relating to Marian Meadows, but due to the <br />matter only relating to a speed limit and the potential lack of a <br />quorum she felt she could make a decision on the matter without any <br />prejudice. <br /> THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING: JOHN JENSEN submitted a letter into the <br />record that the Easton Acres Homeowners are advising the Kittitas <br />County Public Works are in violation of the CCR’s of Easton Acres. THERE BEING NO OTHERS REQUESTING TO TESTIFY THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
