They determined at the end of 2013 they <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />REVIEW DEPARTMENT HEAD ASSIGNMENTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed the current Department’s they are overseeing and <br />then made proposals for the 2019 Department Head assignments. <br />Chairman Cory Wright will oversee the HR, I.T., & Maintenance <br />Departments. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz will oversee the DPW, WSU <br />Extension, CDS. Commissioner Brett Wachsmith will oversee the KVEC, <br />Solid Waste and Public Health. <br /> <br />REVIEW COMMISSIONER COMMITTEE’S COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Staff provided copies of the current committees that the <br />Commissioners serve on. The Board reviewed them and made changes for <br />2019, some of which follow Chairmanship or that are no longer <br />something Kittitas County participates in. <br /> <br />REQUEST DIST. #3 MONITOR COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Wright stated that he has a monitor that Commissioner <br />Wachsmith could use. <br /> <br />No action needed. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS- <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz briefed the Board on a request for her to <br />attend a community forest tour in Montana that will be before them <br />on Monday 1/14/19. <br /> <br />The Board determined they want to do a Pancake Breakfast for County <br />Staff on 2/14/19. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to set up an BoCC Office Retreat for an afternoon <br />in the near future. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
