JANUARY 2, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Mark <br />Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Judy Pless, Budget & <br />Finance Manager; Jeremy Johnston, Staff Planner; Sarah Keith, Superior <br />Court Administrator; Kasey Knutson, Health Promotion Supervisor; Dan <br />Carlson, CDS Director; Debbie Myers, Board Clerk; and 1 member of the <br />public. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board called the meeting to order. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> NOMINATIONS FOR 2019 CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN <br />Commissioner Osiadacz nominated Commissioner Wright to serve as Chairman <br />of the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2019. <br />Commissioner Wachsmith seconded the nomination. Nominations were closed. <br />A unanimous ballot was cast for Commissioner Wright to serve as Chairman <br />for the year 2019. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright asked for nominations to serve as Vice-Chairman of the <br />Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2019. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz nominated Commissioner Wachsmith to serve as Vice-Chairman for <br />2019. Chairman Wright seconded the nomination. Nominations were closed. <br />A unanimous ballot was cast for Commissioner Wachsmith to serve as Vice- <br />Chairman for the year 2019. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE <br /> PROCLAMATIONS – NONE AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS – NONE <br />
