12/18/2018 MINUTES 9 <br /> <br /> <br /> BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> CLOSED RECORD MEETING VANTAGE TO POMONA TRANSMISSION LINE CUP CDS <br />Jeremy Johnston, Staff Planner reviewed the Hearing Examiner’s <br />recommendation for the Vantage to Pomona Transmission Line Conditional <br />Use Permit (CU-18-000001). He said David Dean, Agent for Pacific Power <br />is proposing the development and continued maintenance of a 27.6 mile <br />230 kV transmission line to be built in the south east corner of <br />Kittitas County. The transition line is to be used to service a <br />connection between Pacific Power’s Pomona Substation in Yakima County <br />and the Bonneville Power Administration’s Vantage Substation in Grant <br />County. The Hearing Examiner held a hearing and recommended approval <br />with proposed Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Conditions. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to approve the Vantage to Pomona Transmission <br />Line Conditional Use Permit (CU-18-000001), and direct Staff to prepare <br />enabling documents. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> RESOLUTION 2018-205 FUND FOR DRUG ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES PROSECUTOR <br />Commissioner Wright moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-205, Amending <br />the Cumulative Reserve Fund for Drug Enforcement Activities. <br /> REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF THE CUMULATIVE RESERVE FUND FOR DRUG ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES BY THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT – ITEM REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS – NONE EXECUTIVE SESSION – NONE ADJOURNMENT <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:17 a.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON Julie Kjorsvik Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
