BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -,9D3 <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON KPFF TASK ORDER NO. 16 <br />SUPPLEMENT NO. 1— BIG BOULDER CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Public Works selected KPFF as a structural design firm following a prescribed <br />procurement process in 2016; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners approved KPFF Task Order <br />No. 16 with Resolution 2018-160 on October 2, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS: Recent resignation of the Engineering Services Manager reduces Public Works <br />design capacity supporting Big Boulder Creek Bridge Replacement; and <br />WHEREAS: KPFF is offering to offset the County's obligation to provide civil and roadway <br />design in the project; and <br />WHEREAS: The cost of additional KPFF project design support is $35,000 bringing a new <br />task order price (not to exceed) to $208,000; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of county Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's Signature on KPFF Task Order No. <br />16 Supplement No. 1 in the amount of $35,000 bringing the total task order price (not to exceed) <br />to $208,000. <br />DATED this 10th day of December, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />*A,ofrt�e Board- .luiie Kjorsvik <br />com,.- ,�c'� •,...... <br />eputy ala : the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />s c <br />�''++rrrrrrrutirtt`���� <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY.
