11/26/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />Chairman Osiadacz presented the Board with a listing of ideas for <br />the definition of “no net loss of roads”. She stated it’s something <br />that the Public Lands Advisory Committee is working on and she <br />wanted the Boards input as well. <br /> <br />Time ran out for discussion and Staff was asked to set a follow up <br />meeting. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board decided for the week of 11-26-2018 they would share a post <br />on the BoCC’s Facebook page a request for Christmas Cards to Tavish <br />McCosh who is a local child that is battling cancer. Commissioner <br />O’Brien stated he would also like to encourage the BoCC to send a <br />card. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. This was determined at a Special <br />Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners held on June 18, <br />2009. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their <br />respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis.
