11/06/2018 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 6, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR <br />Director/Interim Event Center Director; Chris Horner, DPA & Clay <br />Myers, Undersheriff. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:04 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and <br />announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 15 <br />minutes per RCW 42.30.140 to consider Collective bargaining sessions <br />with employee organizations, including contract negotiations, <br />grievance meetings, and discussions relating to the interpretation <br />or application of a labor agreement; or (b) that portion of a <br />meeting during which the governing body is planning or adopting the <br />strategy or position to be taken by the governing body during the <br />course of any collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or <br />grievance or mediation proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made <br />in the negotiations or proceedings while in progress. No action was <br />anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:19 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action was taken. <br /> <br />At 9:19 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess back <br />into Executive Session for 5 minutes per RCW 42.30.140 to consider <br />Collective bargaining sessions with employee organizations, <br />including contract negotiations, grievance meetings, and discussions <br />relating to the interpretation or application of a labor agreement; <br />or (b) that portion of a meeting during which the governing body is <br />planning or adopting the strategy or position to be taken by the <br />governing body during the course of any collective bargaining, <br />professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings, or <br />reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings <br />while in progress. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:24 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br />Direction was given to staff to prepare documents for the Board to <br />consider. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:28 a.m. <br />
