NOVEMBER 5, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Julie <br />Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director/Interim County Engineer; Neil Caulkins, DPA. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending November 2, 2018. The Board authorized Chairman Osiadacz to <br />draft a letter of support responding to an item on the <br />correspondence log from Anna Lael with the KCCD to support a funding <br />request they are putting in for. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:22 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session for 10 minutes per RCW 42.30.140 to consider <br />Collective bargaining sessions with employee organizations, <br />including contract negotiations, grievance meetings, and discussions <br />relating to the interpretation or application of a labor agreement; <br />or (b) that portion of a meeting during which the governing body is <br />planning or adopting the strategy or position to be taken by the <br />governing body during the course of any collective bargaining, <br />professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings, or <br />reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings <br />while in progress. Possible action was anticipated.
