10/22/2018 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:40 A.M. OCTOBER 22, 2018 Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager. REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager provided an update and discussed/reviewed a proposed Amendment with CH2M/Jacobs for the cultural resource assessment; Amendment with ALSC Architects and the Fulcrum Report on the Bowling Alley. AMENDMENT CH2M/JACOBS SOLID WASTE Commissioner Wright moved to approve & authorize the Vice-Chair’s signature on Amendment No.4 to Professional Service Agreement Task 8 Cultural Resources Assessment to Phase 4 in the amount of $21,227.50. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-0. AMENDMENT ALSC ARCHITECTS SOLID WASTE Commissioner Wright moved to approve authorize the Vice-Chair’s signature on Amendment No. 1 to the PSA with ALSC Architects in the amount of $8,280.00. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-0. REVIEW FULCUM REPORT SOLID WASTE Ms. Johnson presented the Board with the Hazardous Building Materials Inspection Report from Fulcrum Environmental Consulting that was performed on the former Rodeo Bowl Building at 830 North Poplar Street, Ellensburg, WA 98926. She stated that she just wanted to make sure they were aware it’s available to them and they can review it prior to her Solid Waste Study Session (Special Meeting) in November.
