Candie Leader
From:
Mark Cook
Sent:
Wednesday, August 23, 2017 8:09 AM
To:
'Mary.Vargas@faa.gov'
Cc:
Paul Jewell; Laura Osiadacz; Obie O'Brien; Candie Leader
Subject:
FOD
Since the fire caused by Central Washington University's flight operations contractor (ASSCO) damaging the
private hangar, we have been constantly encouraging Carrera Hangars Bowers Field LP (airport lessee) to
finalize repairs to their hangar. Last week I spoke with Carrara's property manager (west side WA) and it is my
understanding that contractors would be onsite this week beginning hangar repairs. As it appears that is not
the case, I will notice Carrera this morning of our decision to proceed with notice of lease termination in the
absence of immediate response cleaning FOD from the site.
