BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />• IN N <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE NORTH FORK TEANAWAY RD <br />BRIDGE #16203 REPAIR AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO <br />EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS: Bids were solicited in accordance with RCW 39.04.155 Small Works Roster <br />Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Bids were received via e-mail and standard mail on August 18, 2017 at 10:00am <br />in the Kittitas County Public Works Department and two (2) bids were received; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The second bidder, although low bidder, has been deemed non-responsive as the <br />bid was received and time stamped by Public Works after the 10:00am deadline; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Petersen <br />Brothers Inc. be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for the North Fork Teanaway Rd Bridge <br />#16203 Repair, upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 28th day of August, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />..,\111111111 p,.. <br />the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />////i11111111111P\ \ <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />au well, Chairman <br />Laura Osi'ddfte:t, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner <br />
