OCTOBER 2, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien and <br />Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Clay Myers, <br />Undersheriff; David Houseberg, Patrol Officer; Steve Panattoni, <br />Patrol Sergeant, and Kay Kresge, Fiscal Analyst. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. Vice-Chairman O’Brien opened a Public Hearing to <br />consider the Disposal of Surplus County Property. <br /> <br />KAY KRESGE, FISCAL ANALYST provided a Staff Report and <br />recommended the Board approve the list of items described and to <br />declare them surplus to the County’s needs. <br /> <br />CLAY MYERS, UNDERSHERIFF explained that the 2010 Snowmobile had <br />been donated to the Kittitas County Search & Rescue in memory of <br />former Sheriff Bob McBride. He said they’d like to give his son <br />the first opportunity to purchase it at fair market value. The <br />Board did not have any issues with offering it to him first. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF <br />THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-155 SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY AUDITOR <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-155, <br />Declare Equipment Surplus to the County. VICE-CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
