KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: September 10, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution to Ratify the Chair's Signature on <br />2018 Rural Arterial Program Grant Submittal <br />BACKGROUND: The County Road Administration Board's (CRAB) Rural <br />Arterial Program (RAP) grant applications were due on <br />September 4, 2018. Engineering Services Manger Folk <br />completed the grant applications and requested the Chair's <br />signature on the grant the afternoon of September 4, 2018. <br />Public Works is seeking funding assistance on the Vantage <br />Road rehabilitation project and installing a new culvert at <br />Via Kachess Road. The grants were successfully submitted <br />with the Chair's signature. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Ratify the Chair's signature on 2018 CRAB RAP grant <br />applications. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Exhibit 1: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
