If the level of effort and cost for permit or approval acquisition is higher than the budget <br />amount, Jacobs and the County will work together to amend this task with additional <br />funds as needed. <br />f. No mitigation planning is included in this scope of work. <br />5. Structural <br />a. COUNTY to provide KPFF with a base survey map including utility types and locations <br />from which KPFF can perform the most cost effective bridge layout. County will collect <br />additional data as necessary per request by KPFF. Contours shall be in at least 2 ft <br />increments and shall preferably extend at least 100 feet to the north, south, east and west <br />of the proposed project limits to include all utilities, driveways, ditches, and other items <br />which are reasonable likely to impact the bridge layout and design. <br />b. KPFF to provide technical specifications related to the PS&E they develop (culvert <br />portion only). <br />c. New bridge is assumed to be designed for two 12 foot lanes, and two 4 foot shoulders. <br />The width shall meet approach widths at a minimum, and as prescribed by the COUNTY. <br />d. No sidewalks will be located on the bridge. <br />e. Bridge superstructure will have a 2% crown from the centerline of the roadway, or as <br />prescribed by COUNTY Civil roadway design. <br />f. There will be no drains on the bridge. <br />g. Bridge is assumed to be a Contractor Designed 3 -sided box per WSDOT standard <br />drawings. If the TS&L report results indicate that a Contractor -Designed 3 -sided box is <br />not the preferred alternative, the COUNTY will revise KPFF's scope and fee accordingly <br />to prepare a full Bridge PS&E package. <br />6. Right of Way <br />a. All right-of-way services for the COUNTY will be performed in accordance with <br />applicable codes, regulations, standards, and procedures; state and federal laws, FHWA <br />regulations, Local Agency Guidelines Manual, and Washington State Right of Way <br />Manual (M26-01.17). <br />7. Civil, Plans, and MOT assistance <br />a. No assumptions provided. <br />
