Public Works Trust Fund Loan: Patti informed the Board of an available loan for pre - <br />construction in the amount of 1 million per jurisdiction with a deadline of September 13t". She <br />asked the Board for direction on applying for the loan for the new Transfer Station or, the <br />Courthouse Project. Commissioner O'Brien made a motion to apply for the funds for the new <br />Transfer Station. Commissioner Wright seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. <br />Bloom Fire Sprinkler System/Water Sprinkler System: Tim informed the Board that the Fire <br />System need replaced that they were currently operating on waivers and that it would make sense <br />to include the sprinkler at the same time. The Board directed staff to obtain quotes on the Fire <br />System with an alternate quote for the Sprinkler System. <br />Bloom Roof Repair: Tim informed the Board that the roof needed repair and windows needed <br />replaced and that it would be a liability to do in house. The Board directed staff to get estimates. <br />Discussion was held on the Bowling Alley Roof Repair. The Board directed staff to follow up on <br />the Warranty of the project. <br />Event Center Updates/Fair Prep: Lisa Young informed the Board that staff is getting ready for <br />Fair stating the punch list had gone from 18 pages down to 2. Service Agreements for dumpsters <br />and port -o -lets were being delivered. Discussion was held on the seating repairs and repairs <br />would continue after fair. Lisa Young informed the Board interviews had been held for the <br />Office Clerk position. Discussion was held on staffing and looking at the Program Assistants Job <br />description. Further discussion included an on-site caretaker. The Board directed staff to get <br />more information including the caretaker's job description from Yakima County Fairgrounds. <br />Request to Consider and Authorize payment to the Yakama Nation Indians in the Amount <br />of $3390.00: Commissioner O'Brien made a motion to approve payment in the amount of <br />$3390.00 for the 2018 Fair, Commissioner Wright seconded the motion.
