KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM AUGUST 27, 2018 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, and Cory Wright <br />Others: Dan Carlson, Stephanie Mifflin (CDS), Mark Cook, Candie <br />Leader, Sara Folk (PW), Andrew Drain, Jim Goeben (IT) <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. <br />SmartGov/LaserFiche Integration <br />Director Dan Carlson stated Commissiner O'Brien requested this <br />item be on the agenda. Dan gave a brief background on SmartGov <br />and the LaserFiche integration. Dan stated Community Development <br />Services (CDS) is still not able to store documents within <br />SmartGov. <br />Commissioner O'Brien stated that the implementation of SmartGov <br />started over two years ago and would like the Board to make a <br />decision regarding the storage of documents. <br />Andrew Drain stated there may be some negative consequences if <br />CDS were to move away from their current practice. Andrew stated <br />there is room for error when converting from SmartGov to <br />LaserFiche. <br />There was discussion between the Board and staff about a <br />potential breach of contract and whether or not the County's <br />legal department should get involved.
