KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM June 11, 2018 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, and Paul Jewell <br />Others: Dan Carlson, Stephanie Mifflin (CDS), Mark Cook, Candie <br />Leader, Sara Folk (PW), and approximately 15 members of the <br />public. <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. <br />Minors' Hairpin Ranch Conservation Easement <br />A representative from Forterra NW gave a brief presentation on <br />the history of conservation easements in the County and how <br />County staff has conducted an annual inspection of the easement <br />and serves as the lead for these easements with other entities <br />enforcing after. The representative also gave an overview of the <br />Hairpin Ranch Conservation Easement to include the size, <br />location, and what the Minor's plan to do with their property <br />moving forward. <br />Commissioner Jewell stated he sees no reason why the County <br />would not participate in this agreement.
