KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM January 22, 2018 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, and Paul Jewell <br />Others: Dan Carlson, Stephanie Mifflin (CDS), Mark Cook (PW), <br />Neil Caulkins (PA) <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. <br />Building Staff Training Update <br />Mike Flory presented the upcoming staff training schedule for <br />the building division of Community Development Service (CDS). <br />Mike stated there will be no inspections or plan review services <br />March 14t''- 16tH . <br />Other Business <br />Mike Flory stated there has been an issue regarding garages and <br />wood stoves vs. gas stoves as a heat source and the requirements <br />around each of those. Mike explained the building code <br />requirements and stated there has been some email exchange <br />between a customer and staff at CDS.
