8/06/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />SIGNATURE LEASE AGREEMENTS-SHADY BROOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize Chair’s <br />signature on a Lease between Kittitas County and Shilo Foster signed <br />on July 27, 2018 by the current tenant at Shady Brook.. Commissioner <br />Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />REVIEW COMMISSIONER DIST. #1 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Staff provided copies of the current Committees that the <br />Commissioners serve on. Commissioner Wright asked to be the Airport <br />Lead and also clarified that the YRBWEP and YBIP are under his list <br />of Committee’s for 2018. The Board supported Commissioner Wright’s <br />request. <br /> <br />REQUEST WATER RIGHTS TRANSFER TRAINING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright requested the Board to consider authorizing him <br />to attend the 11th Annual Water Rights Transfers Seminar on November <br />1 & 2, 2018 in Seattle, Washington at the Washington Athletic Club. <br />He stated that he needs to get up to speed and is hopeful that this <br />will cover a lot of areas for him to gain a better understanding of <br />water right transfers. <br /> <br />The Board stated they were in agreement and supported the request as <br />presented, noting that a Budget Amendment would need to be done. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS-N/A <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
