JULY 30, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Sara Folk, <br />Engineering Services Manager. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer presented <br />the Board with two Resolutions for consideration. One to Authorize <br />the Director of Public Works to Authorize a Notice of Call For Bids <br />for the Kittitas County 2018 Safety Improvements Project and the <br />second to Award the University Way Bridge #88341 Repair Project and <br />Authorize the Director of Public Works to sign said Contract <br />documents. The Board asked questions relating to time-line and cost. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-117 2018 SAFETY IMPROV. PROJ PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize & approve Board signature on <br />Resolution No. 2018-117, Authorizing the Director of Public Works to <br />Authorize a Notice of Call for Bids for the Kittitas County 2018 <br />Safety Improvements Project. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-118 UNIVERSITY WAY BRIDGE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to authorize & approve Board signature on <br />Resolution No. 2018-118, Awarding the University Way Bridge #88341 <br />Repair Project and Authorize the Director of Public Works to Sign <br />Said Contract Documents. Commissioner O’Brien seconded.
