MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br />YAKIMA BASIN FISH AND WILDLIFE RECOVERY BOARD <br />AND <br />KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />Relating to completion of Revegetation of BLM and adjacent county owned lands in Ringer Loop area <br />I. PURPOSE <br />This Memorandum of Agreement is entered into by the Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board <br />(YBFWRB) and Kittitas County Public Works (the county) in order to complete revegetation on Bureau of <br />Land Management (BLM) managed lands and adjacent county owned lands in the Ringer Loop area. <br />These lands are identified in a map included in Appendix A. <br />II. GOALS <br />The YBFWRB and the county will work together in a cooperative fashion to perform the tasks identified <br />in Appendix A. <br />Ill. SCOPE <br />The scope of the Agreement will be restricted to completion of the work identified in Appendix A. <br />IV. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE <br />This Agreement will go into effect on July 23, 2018, and shall be in place until December 31, 2019, unless <br />terminated sooner as provided herein. <br />V. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. YBFWRB will oversee completion of the work identified in Appendix A <br />B. The county will provide financial compensation of up to $20,000 to the YBFWRB reimbursement <br />of expenses incurred pursuant to this agreement, as described in Appendix A. Requests for <br />payment will be submitted to the county's Public Works Department upon completion of work; <br />requests shall not be made more frequently than once a month. The YBFWRB may also request <br />up to 10% overhead to cover the costs of managing this agreement. The county will provide <br />payment for approved expenses within 30 days of receipt of the payment request. <br />YBFWRB will provide the county with a summary report detailing progress and completion of <br />assigned tasks on completion of the work. <br />VI. PROVISONS <br />A. Nothing in this MOA is intended to create any rights in any party not a party to this MOA nor <br />third party beneficiaries. <br />B. Nothing in this MOA creates a resource obligation outside that stated within the agreement. <br />
