BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -_V la <br />TO AWARD THE 2018 BOWERS FIELD RUNWAY 7/25 PAVEMENT BREAK <br />PROJECT TO BELSAAS AND SMITH AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR TO SIGN SAID CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: The 2018 Bower's Field Runway 7/25 pavement break contract is included in the <br />2018 Airport Capital Improvement Plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited contractors through Municipal Research Service <br />Corporations contractor website for two weeks consistent with Federal Aviation <br />Administration requirements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works received a qualified bid from Belsaas and Smith, Inc. in the amount <br />of $170,640; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has a cost match obligation of $17,064 and said funds are allocated <br />in the 2018 Airport Fund budget; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the 2018 Bowers Field Runway 7/25 pavement <br />break contract to Belsaas and Smith, Inc. in the amount of $170,640 and authorize the Public <br />Works Director to sign said contract documents. <br />DATED this 9th day of July, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />o`d, <br />U Aly C04,^'/, <br />'= Aklest, � <br />'0.. `0 <br />L`fi Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />'16eputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laur O dacz airman <br />Obie O'Brien, ice -Chairman <br />Coral Wright, Commissioner <br />
