<br />06/19/2018 MINUTES 6 <br /> <br /> <br />Approve a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />American Rivers, to work with the key Yakima Basin Integrated Plan <br />(Yakima Plan) stakeholders (primarily Implementation and Executive <br />Committees as well as Workgroup members and others as appropriate) to <br />implement outreach and communications plan to increase awareness and <br />support for the Yakima Plan and its implementation by local, State, and <br />Federal decision makers and the general public on both sides of the <br />Cascades, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE - NONE <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Pat Deneen thanked Commissioner Paul Jewell for his leadership working <br />on the water issues in Kittitas County and said he would be greatly <br />missed when he leaves at the end of June. <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />SPECIAL EVENT WESTSTAR TEAM ROPING SERIES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell approved the Special Event Application to hold the <br />WestStar Team Roping Series on May 19; June 2, 9, 23; July 14, 21; <br />August 11, 18, 29; September 15, 2018, contingent upon complying with <br />revised requirements set forth by the Public Health Department, the <br />Public Works Department, Prosecutor’s office, Fire Marshal, and to grant <br />a waiver to Kittitas County Code Chapter 5.20.100 (Penal Bond – Bond of <br />Indemnity). Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded.
