It was determined that it would be a couple of months before <br />the monies would be available. <br />Courthouse Project Update <br />Patti presented the Board with several options to discuss from the architect. Discussion was held <br />on the different options, modifying, bringing down the cost and where to go next. <br />Further Discussion included brining the value of the North Lots and the Berry's Building into the <br />project. Patti informed the Board she discussed the possible market value of both with a real <br />estate agent and presented them with an email from an agent with ballpark figures for each. <br />Maintenance Update <br />Tim informed the Board that staff is getting a grasp on the Event Center and that the evening <br />janitor quit. <br />Facility Dude Update <br />Patti requested Board approval to have on-site training for staff in the amount of $2500. Tim <br />informed the Board that it would include all staff and help with the transition to the new <br />program. Discussion was held on that there wasn't a specific line item in the budget, but that <br />several line items were under budget. Further discussion included the possibility of a summer <br />intern to assist with data input. Commissioner O'Brien moved to approve. Commissioner Jewell <br />2"a the motion. Motion passed 2-0. <br />Rodeo Arena Seating Maintenance Update <br />Tim informed the Board that the lumber was delivered and the aluminum has been ordered and <br />they should start next week. <br />Jail Update <br />Tim informed the Board that McKinstry made changes to the positive airflow and there have <br />been no complaints. <br />Event Center Maintenance Transition <br />Covered in Maintenance Update agenda item #8. <br />Key System <br />Discussion was held on card lock access, the cost of $900 per lock, and looking into the cost with <br />IT for Wi-Fi at Western Village. The Board directed staff to do a budget request in the amount of <br />$20,000 in next year's budget.
